1. We had another fantastic Annual Dinner with a packed room, great guest speaker, local legislators in attendance and a roarin' theme to make it night to remember. Special shout out to all our members in attendance. We had comments from from multuple out of town guests that we had one of the largest attendance dinners they have seen!  

2.  Visit Coffeyville has been attending events all over the state to recruit visitors to our fantastic community. Coffeyville is the destination to be! Here are a few showcase events:

• Destination Statehouse in Topeka
• Wichita Women's Fair
• Kansas Retreat for Rural Leaders
• Inter-State Farm & Home Show
• WeKan Conference 
• Kansas Media Marketplace in Des Moines

 

 

3. Census 2020 is just around the corner. Our commitee is working to get the word out and encourage all Coffeyville citizens to complete thier census form this year.  Having accurate numbers can impact local funding, representation and so much more. Check out this census link

4. The Chamber has been hard at work providing training and leadership opportunities for our members. We are offering two youth leadership camp scholarships and two business scholarships for the Jon Schallert Destination Business workshop.

5. One of our goals this year is to increase both our membership numbers and engagement numbers. The more citizens and businesses we can connect & engage, the more our community will thrive. Do you know a retired individual, young professional or volunteer who wants to get involved? Have them join the Chamber as an Associate member and get connected. We are stronger together!
