The Siouxland Chamber of Commerce and The Siouxland Initiative are partnering with Iowa Workforce Development and Iowa Economic Development Authority in updating our Laborshed employment study of the Siouxland area.

Iowa Workforce Development has sent letters to Siouxland businesses (human resource managers) requesting each business to complete an employee zip code reporting form. We encourage you to participate by completing the form.

Tue Apr 23 - Ribbon Cutting at 1:00 PM for new Chamber member, Lots of Love Pet Care hosted at the Siouxland Chamber Office, 701 Pierce St., Ste. 100.
Wed Apr 24 - Ribbon Cutting at 4:30 PM for Promenade Cinema 14, 924 4th St. They are celebrating their newly completed upgrades.
Wed Apr 25 - Ribbon Cutting at 2:00 PM for StoneyBrook Suites, 301 Dakota Dunes Blvd, Dakota Dunes, SD. They are celebrating their 10th Anniversary. Open house will follow the ribbon cutting until 4:00 PM.
Thur Apr 25 - Ribbon Cutting at 4:30 PM for Council on Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence (CSADV) and Leadership Siouxland at CSADV, 1723 Grandview Blvd. They are celebrating their partnership in renovating their children and family playrooms. A reception will follow the ribbon cutting.
Fri Apr 26 - Ribbon Cutting at 5:00 PM for new Chamber member, Gallery 103, Ho-Chunk Centre-1st Floor. Following the ribbon cutting there will be an open house until 9:00 PM.

Scouting has been active in Siouxland for over 100 years and as the Mid-America Council for 18 years.

What services do you offer?
We are a nonprofit impacting youth in character development, physical and mental fitness and citizenship training. These are today's young people who will be tomorrow's leaders.

What is a fun or surprising fact about your business?
Beginning just recently girls can now join Cub Scouts, allowing us to serve and impact the full family.
