Wed Oct 14 - Ribbon Cutting at 4:00 PM for Sioux Gateway Airport/Brigadier General Bud Day Field, 2403 Aviation Blvd. They are celebrating the addition of nonstop flights from Sioux City to Denver on United Airlines, operated by SkyWest Airlines.

Electoral Politics 101:
Why Elections and Voting Matter

With Election Day 2020 just around the corner, and absentee voting already underway, Siouxland Chamber President, Chris McGowan will deliver a presentation on the history of the federal electoral process and how elections impact small businesses at the local, state, and federal level.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

Now - Sun Oct 18 - Sioux City CROP Hunger Virtual Walk. Participants can take part in this event by walking in their neighborhood. A quarter of the proceeds will go towards purchasing food for Community Action Agency of Siouxland's Food Bank, with the rest of the monies helping international hunger efforts. Tue Oct 20 - Thur Oct 22 - Young Professionals of Iowa (YPIowa) Virtual Conference. Our local young professionals group, Sioux City Growth Organization, invites you to attend the YPIowa Conference. This year's conference is virtual and spread over three days. Each day features a 90-minute session with a unique spin on the "better normal" theme.
