Shopping local is always important, but COVID-19 has shown us that supporting the businesses that make Siouxland our home has never been more crucial. As a member of the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce, we want to share the opportunity to promote the sale of your gift cards on the Sioux City Journal website. This is available at no charge and the process is simple.

Click here if your business would like to participate in the Sioux City Journal's gift card page. On the right side of the screen, you'll see a red "Add Business" button. Click that button and add your company information. Once completed your store gift cards will be available.

On December 1, 2020, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds allocated $7 million of federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding to the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs, through the Iowa Arts & Culture Emergency Relief Fund.

Eligible Iowa arts and cultural organizations, businesses and individual artists whose normal operations have been interrupted due to the pandemic and ongoing public health emergency may apply for grant funding. As demand for these grants is expected to exceed available funding, this will be a highly competitive program. No applicant is guaranteed a funding award or amount.
