Tue Oct 9 - Ribbon Cutting at 10:00 AM for Metro Electric, 931 Steuben St. They are celebrating their 25 year anniversary.
Thur Oct 11 - Ribbon Cutting at 12:00 Noon for Keizer Refrigeration and Mid-States Utility Trailer Sales, 5220 Harbor Dr. (Exit 141 off I-29) They are celebrating their new Sioux City facility. Open House from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM including lunch, tours, games and raffle prizes.
Fri Oct 12 - Ribbon Cutting at 10:00 AM for Peoples Bank, 468 Titan Rd, Hinton, IA. They are celebrating the announcement that Pinnacle Bank in Sioux City and Hinton are now Peoples Bank. Open House from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with complimentary pork chops grilled by The Pork Producers.
Fri Oct 12 - Ribbon Cutting at 1:30 PM for Sioux City's newest park, Prairie Park, 3500 South Lewis Blvd. A variety of prairie grass and wildflower blends have been planted on 58 acres just off Lewis Blvd. where the park is located.
Mon Oct 15 - Ribbon Cutting at 4:30 PM for new Chamber member, V.I.P. Gymnastics, Ninja & Cheer, 300 Centennial Dr., Ste. 150, North Sioux City, SD.
Tue Oct 16 - Ribbon Cutting at 11:30 AM for Thirty-One Gifts hosted at the Siouxland Chamber Office, 701 Pierce St., Ste. 100 in the Pioneer Bank Bldg. Products will be on display and orders can be placed following the ribbon cutting.
Fri Oct 19 - Ribbon Cutting at 11:00 AM for Milwaukee Wiener House, 301 Douglas St. They are celebrating 100 YEARS of serving Siouxland. The ribbon cutting will kick-off a week of festivities from Oct 22 - Oct 26.
Fri Oct 19 - Ribbon Cutting at 1:00 PM for Vern Eidi Honda Sioux City , 4625 Singing Hills Blvd. They are celebrating their completed renovations and a Grand Reopening.

This month's meeting will be a tour of the Sioux City Career Academy at 627 4th St. We will meet at the Career Academy at Noon. The campus is located along the skywalk above the Sioux City Community School District Educational Service Center. Skywalk entrance is located at 627 4th St.

Tue Oct 16 - Downtown's Stop & Sip sponsored by Downtown Partners , 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This is a traveling open house series where 5 different locations will be open to learn about the business and sip on some samples. Locations will be announced the Monday before on Facebook .
