Wed Mar 17 - Ribbon Cutting at 11:30 AM for the Crittenton Center, 6100 Morningside Ave. They are celebrating the expansion of their child care program. Tours will be available following the ribbon cutting.

Now - Mar 31 - Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month: The June E. Nylen Cancer Center, MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center, UnityPoint Health - St. Luke's, Family Health Care, Siouxland Community Health Center and Family Medicine Center, are working together to help raise awareness about how important colonoscopies are with the hope that they can influence those over age 50 to get screened. Join them in the efforts by printing and posting awareness posters in your business.

Now - April 15 - Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, sponsored by Center for Siouxland. VITA is an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) program which offers free tax preparation to qualifying taxpayers. Contact Center for Siouxland to schedule an appointment at 712.252.1861 ext. 11. What services do you offer? We are the home of the Woodbury County Fair which services 4-H, FFA, youth and adult open class participants. We also provide building and ground use for events.

How many years has your business been a Chamber member? We are in our first year of Chamber membership.

What do you enjoy most about being a Chamber member? We enjoy learning about all the opportunities our membership can provide to help our association. The staff and volunteers are wonderful to work with and we enjoy meeting other Chamber members.

What is a fun or surprising fact about your business?
Fun Fact: Country Singer, Kenny Chesney performed at the Woodbury County Fair when he was just starting out. Also, the Woodbury County Fair is 2nd in the state for 4-H participation and we are the 3rd largest county fair in the state.
