Siouxland Human Investment Partnership (SHIP)
What services does the Siouxland Human Investment Partnership (SHIP) offer?
We are a non-profit organization that administers state, federal and private funds that help to increase the quality of life for Siouxland children, families and citizens. We also have direct service programs such as Beyond the Bell, Sky Ranch Behavioral Services and BOOST, and we provide leadership in response to identified community needs, and organize collaboration to problem solve issues such as homelessness (Siouxland Street Project), illiteracy and low test scores in children (0-3: Prime Age to Engage) post-secondary attainment (Sioux City College Access Network) and much more .

What is a fun or surprising fact about your business?
SHIP in general is a well-kept secret, but one of the services we offer is to be an employer of record and/or fiscal agent for other non-profits. In this capacity, SHIP functions as an "umbrella organization" and can take care of all of the HR payroll and other administrative functions so that organizations can focus their time on mission and programming.
