The Governor today vetoed SB 654 (Jackson), a CalChamber job killer bill that would have increased costs and burdens on small business employers in CA.

Torrance Historical Society's Original Fall Tour of Old Torrance Historic Homes

Tour begins at the Torrance Historical Society & Museum
Tickets: $25 donation per person — no advance ticket sales
  • Tour the interiors of six private historic homes
  • Stroll tree-lined streets
  • View antique automobiles
  • Torrance Woman's Club: Enjoy complimentary lemonade, Torrance Bakery cookies, and Views of Torrance art by Artists of Torrance Artists Guild & Destination: Art
  • See plein air artists painting on location at the homes throughout the weekend
You can also enter to win a progressive dinner for six in three historic homes. Drawing to be held November 10th — winner will be notified. Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25. Dinner will be Saturday, January 21st, 2017.
