March is almost here and we are already talking about graduations!

Once again the BSCC is opening up the

Education Assistance Program for Borrego Springs High School Students.

Student assistance funding ranges from $500 to $2,000 to help further the recipients education. Please share with local high school students.

This week Little Thai Cottage will be at the Farmer's Market, along with our wonderful variety of vendors. Remember for vendors to keep coming back they need your support.

Last week we welcomed a writer from Westways Magazine who will be featuring Borrego Springs in and upcoming story. We'll see what businesses might be included as he visited a few. March will be a busy one for media interest, let's hope the flowers keep blooming because Borrego

blooms as well!

Farmers Market is every Friday, until April 24

No shopping before 8 AM, like any other business we open at a certain time for a reason, please understand.

Please keep your dogs on short leases, we have elderly people who tell me that they are afraid of (especially the large dogs) and tripping over a long leashed pet at the market. Thank you.

Annual Hazardous Waste Removal

Anyone 65 years of age and older is provided one annual free home pickup of hazardous waste from the “Our One Earth” SD County Hazardous Waste Center at 877-713-2784 (if using a landline dial 1). For more information about what hazardous waste is, brochures are available at the Chamber.

Borrego Community Cleanup

Borrego's community clean-up is held the first Saturday of every month, commencing at The Circle and fanning out to nearby areas either on foot or by car to pick up litter. The Chamber provides the bags and pickers;

all you need to do is bring yourself.
