Parade Theme Contest

Everyone loves a parade, especially the youth in Borrego Springs, so Daniel Wright and his "Dream Team" parade organizers are having a contest for this year's parade theme.

Send us a theme along with 50 words or less saying why you picked this theme.

Open to ages 10-17 

Include name, contact info, along with print and signature of adult or parent.

Winner will receive a $25 gift card, award, ride in the parade, and name recognition.

Borrego Community Cleanup

Borrego's community clean-up is held the first Saturday of every month, commencing at The Circle and fanning out to nearby areas either on foot or by car to pick up litter. The Chamber provides the bags and pickers; 

all you need to do is bring yourself.

The Community Clean-up will be on a summer hiatus during July and August. People can still pick up trash on their own schedules and in their neighborhoods, call Marcy Yates, (760) 767-4287 for more information.

Landscaping Maintenance Bid Request

Christmas Circle Community Park is accepting written bids for ongoing landscape maintenance beginning Aug. 1, 2026.

Bids are due by 5 p.m. on July 20, 2026 and must include monthly fee, insurance, and license information.
