As I opened the front door to Nothing Bundt Cake, it smelled as if I was walking into my grandma’s house when she was baking the variety of holiday cookies she prepared each year. There was an amazing aroma of butter, sugar, and spices.
Greeted by Martin Rocha, he invited me into the kitchen to see where the supplies were kept and the bundt cakes were made. As we walked through a corridor of large bags of flour, sugar, and other baking supplies, I could see in the short distance a production line for the bundt cakes. The South Bay Association of Chambers of Commerce (SBACC) will hold its annual installation of the 2024 board and executive committee on Friday, December 15th. The luncheon, scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. will also recognize Gaetano's Restaurant and owner, Vince Giuliano as 'Business of the Year' and the El Camino Foundation as the 'Nonprofit of the Year'. Tickets are $60 each and can be purchased at www.sbacc.com
The event will be held at the Lions Automobilia Foundation & Museum in Carson. The museum is a tribute to the region's rich car culture and motorsports history. Spanning nearly 100,000 sq. ft., it features galleries of classic automobiles and a Main Street Gallery that transports visitors back in time with its 1950s diner and vintage speed shop.
