Executive Directors Notes

This week started out busy with visitors and locals stopping by the Chamber.
Take note with the cooler weather many animals are starting to wander about as well. Today I saw several coyotes crossing the road and a few snakes, plus our normal rabbits, squirrels, lizards and birds that love the Chamber.
I also starting working on a media trip from Japan coming to Borrego in November, with them comes social media influencers, writers and tour operator all working with Visit California.
I'm keeping the Festival info up because we are getting daily calls and hope this will help you.
The fun kicks off at 9:40 AM with our local Fire District making their way down Palm Canyon with sirens blaring followed by the singing of National Anthem by Jackette Williams at Christmas Circle.
Weather permitting, at 9:50 a flyover will take place with the Missing Man formation in honor of Mike Himmerich.
Borrego Days officially opens at 10 AM. We have exciting new performers and a comedy hypnosis show............plus our free "Shine & Show" vehicle show with awards including "Fan Favorite." The show is free to enter.
Vendor applications are coming in as well as sponsorship's from our generous community. For applications, weekend lineup check the
borregodays.com website often as we are updating it weekly.
Need answers, sponsorship form or vendor application and want to talk to a real person;-) we have everything at the Chamber. We are still in need of volunteers!
