We were so proud to watch our DeLand School of Government class graduate from the program on April 7th. The group conducted a mock City Commission meeting before receiving their certificates for completing the program, which is in its 21st year!

A huge thank you to the City of DeLand, Volusia County Schools, and DeLand High School for their continued partnership and support in making this program such a success!

Congratulations to Principal Aivazis, the incredible staff, and the students of Edith I Starke Elementary on receiving the prestigious Danny Gainin School of Excellence Award, presented by the Chamber’s Education Committee!

We were honored to celebrate Starke’s remarkable achievement of raising their school grade to an A, all while undergoing renovations to create an even better learning environment for their students. What an inspiring accomplishment!
