City of Rio Rancho Seeking Input on Comprehensive Plan

During August and September, the City of Rio Rancho will host six public meetings where residents are invited to attend, learn more about the City’s Comprehensive Plan, and provide input on how the City should develop in the next 20 years.
The City’s Comprehensive Plan is essentially a guide for future development decision making and is a statement of how a community desires to grow, with respect to population growth, housing, transportation, land use, public facilities, economic development, etc. In 2001, with input from the public, the City developed the Vision 2020 Integrated Comprehensive Plan. Since that time, the plan has been reviewed and amended every five years or so. To view the Comprehensive Plan, please visit .

The Rio Rancho Regional Chamber Visionaries is a group of young professionals dedicated to developing a young workforce in Rio Rancho. In addition to being a leading voice for the area’s young professionals, Visionaries collaborate with local groups that share its commitment to attracting and retaining young talent in the business community.
