EVENT - APPLYING THE KEY STEPS TO AN ELEVATOR PITCH THROUGHOUT YOUR BUSINESS

Wednesday 3rd March 09:45 to 11:00

Kerry-Anne Kitson, Our Chamber Vice President shares with us a presentation she was asked to give at the first of a series of Women in Business networking events held by Metro Bank.

She takes 5 key steps of writing an elevator pitch and shows you how to apply them to your business strategy and your website marketing.

Bring a pen and paper and plenty of creative thought as you prepare to spend half an hour thinking about your own business planning.

The presentation will last approximately 25 minutes with time for Q&A’s afterwards then a brief chance for us all to do a bit of networking if time allows.

Link to book via our website HERE.
SHOP LOCAL INITIATIVE - KEEPING OUR HIGH STREETS ALIVE

Towards the end of 2020, we launched a new campaign to support our high street traders and encourage people to shop locally. By way of small encouragement for people to become aware of the scheme, and generally think more about how they can support their local economy, we offer a variety of prizes each month just for spending with our local traders.

As soon as non-essential shops are able to begin trading again we will be resuming the initiative and doing all we can to encourage local spending.

The scheme is FREE to register for, and traders are provided with all the information they need to let people know they are participating in the scheme. It is also not exclusive to just chamber members. If you are in a High Street, or local shopping area, please share the word and encourage as many people as possible to sign up. This is just one way, of we hope many more schemes and initiatives that will be there to boost our high streets. Traders can register for the scheme by emailing us HERE.
