February 2019
 Embracing Change
There are plenty of business cliches, and this one is a classic: " The only constant is change". While it's trite, it also happens to be true. The business landscape is always evolving, and organizations need to embrace it by always being open and attuned to new ideas and fresh thinking. The Chamber is no exception; fortunately our structure guarantees that we always have new members and new thinking to help guide us, via our annual Board of Director changes. We thank those whose term has recently expired (see below) and welcome five new Board members this month. We are excited about how the 2019 Board will help further our success! All auction proceeds support the Thornton Fund, a cause that provides assistance to students in need, renovates campus buildings, invigorates the arts, and supports athletic department programming.  Our independent school status excludes us from taxpayer funds for many initiatives so all funds must be privately raised or borrowed.    There are many ways your business can support this event, including:  Donating an Item or Service,  Serving as an Event or Item Sponsor, Placing a Program Ad, or Purchasing a Raffle Ticket. For more information, visit: www.thorntonacademy.org/auction  or email  sydney.menard@thorntonacademy.org
