  Welcome to 2019
We're excited about all the opportunities we have at the Chamber in 2019 to make positive contributions to the community and for our members. I'm pleased to announce that we have brought on Alex MacPhail to work for the Chamber as our Marketing and Membership Coordinator, so please give him a warm welcome. We also have the privilege of updating you soon on our 2019 plans at our upcoming Annual Meeting next week. Our goal is to do everything we can to make your investment in your Chamber a great one for you and the area. Give us a call any time with your feedback, thoughts and ideas, we'd love to hear from you! - Jim

Thornton Academy Fund Auction
Thornton Academy is planning its 12th Annual Thornton Fund Auction for Saturday, May 4, 2019 and invites your business to contribute to this successful event.  The auction is Thornton Academy's largest fundraising event and draws a crowd of nearly four hundred attendees. All auction proceeds support the Thornton Fund, a cause that provides assistance to students in need, renovates campus buildings, invigorates the arts, and supports athletic department programming.  Our independent school status excludes us from taxpayer funds for many initiatives so all funds must be privately raised or borrowed.    There are many ways your business can support this event, including:  Donating an Item or Service,  Serving as an Event or Item Sponsor, Placing a Program Ad, or Purchasing a Raffle Ticket. For more information, visit:  or email
