Hello! It has been a minute since our last formal newsletter... we have been experimenting with smaller e-notes covering specific topics/opportunities. We will continue to mix it up... Heads up that this edition of the newsletter is chock full so you may want to read it with your calendar open!

Please keep an eye out for an upcoming announcement and opportunity to submit promotions and offers for our first online holiday marketplace - designed to encourage those who live, work, and invest in our service area to shop local and support this commerce community.

We have some exciting milestones among our commerce community! Congratulations to Talia for crossing the one-year mark and the awesome Best of Westchester accolades for new restaurant! Congratulations to Five Iron Golf for passing one year in business in PC and getting open in Norwalk! Congratulations to Fat Stu's for opening your third restaurant in Mamaroneck! Congratulations to The Village of Rye Brook for opening an outdoor fitness studio! Congratulations to Jane Foodie on your soft opening! On the far other end of the 'years in business spectrum' we congratulate the Port Chester- Rye Brook Public Library on your 150th anniversary and The Capitol Theatre on your 100th anniversary!

cheers! Camela

PS: Please let me know if you'd like to grab a caffeinated beverage and talk about how we can further support your organization.

PPS: Please vote on November 3. Encourage your employees, vendors, partners, neighbors... voting is our right and responsibility.

Scholarship Award Celebration!

On a beautiful September evening, following our Q3 membership meeting, we gathered on the rooftop of The Magellan to celebrate the winners of the inaugural Michael J. Borrelli Social Media Scholarship -- Astrid Vargas Hernandez - real estate professional with eXp Realty, and Jacqueline Chantri - president of Marble & Granite Interiors, Inc.

Each winner received a $1,000 cash scholarship, a Chamber membership, and 1:1 consultation with a social media expert. They will each present the results of their scholarship project to the Chamber board of directors and the scholarship sponsors in early 2027

Thank you to Michael J. Borrelli for lending his name and energy to this new scholarship, along with all the sponsors for their generous support: Borrelli Partners, The First Bank of Greenwich, US Alliance Financial, Chris Cohan Landscape Architect, Friends of Nancy Barr, Zoe Mountroukas, and Voyager Workspaces. We also thank the social media pros who are consulting with our winners - Beth Granger of Beth Granger Consulting and Liz Woods of Ryemarkable Moms and Houlihan Lawrence Real Estate. Plans and fundraising are underway to offer this scholarship again in 2027!
