Greetings!
June has been full of great connections and progress as we work together to create valuable opportunities for you and your organizations!
We co-hosted two terrific events with brand new members, added and renewed valuable members, and made some important introductions. A big thanks to the more than 20 of you who have met with me already this month. With each conversation, I'm so impressed by what is happening right here!
Please support the growth of your Chamber by signing up for the LobsterFest (7/9) and Golf events, and of course by setting up a 2025-26 membership if you have not already.
I hope that you will read on ... there is a lot to this newsletter because there is a lot going on all around us.

19 North Regent Animal Clinic Advice for Pet Safety
Chamber member Dr. Gina and her team shared this pet-saving information on managing fireworks -- we want to make sure you see it.
Also:
- Do not leave your pet alone in a car for even a minute in hot, or even warm weather.
- Know how hot the pavement gets ... at an air temp of 85 degrees asphalt is 130 and concrete is 105. Not a place for their feet!
Protect your beloved pet at all times - they are counting upon you.

AFC Urges Safety First
New Chamber member American Family Care Urgent Care gave us these smart reminders to share as we hit this heat wave and get ready for the holiday:
Hydrate & Rest: drink water - take shady breaks
Use Sun Protection: spf 30+, hat, sunglasses
Don't Skip Rx Medications
Fireworks - keep your distance, that goes for kids and sparklers, too
Food Cautions: know what you are eating, watch for allergies, signs of spoilage, dietary restrictions
Know Where to Get Help: AFC is open during the holiday - walk in, no appointments; call 911 and get to closest Emergency Room for emergencies!

We live, work, invest, and play in an amazing area. One of the many reasons that organizations locate here is the robust resources available for development and workforce support. In future editions of this newsletter, we will share resources from the Westchester County Office of Economic Development, SCORE, our dedicated elected officials, our Chamber service area municipalities ... and more. In addition to what we can share with you, check websites, sign up for newsletters, follow on social, meet the leaders and participate as much as you can. We recommend that you take full advantage of these resources - they have been created to support you.
Members, please share postable resources with us for inclusion here and on a future web site page. Send to info@pcrbchamber.net.
