Greetings! July is flying by!
Thank you to all who attended LobsterFest 2025 - it was a great party! Next up is a multi-chamber networking event in August, and then the annual Golf outing in September. We also expect to announce more grand openings in the near future!
As well, there is a significant issue in play with utility rates which we encourage you to understand and be heard on. There is a session this Tuesday evening on the ConEd proposed rate increases. Your elected officials and municipal leaders are working hard to push back ...and you can and should have a voice in this critical and costly issue that will impact organizations and residents. More info can be found below.
On a lighter note...the guys to the left are our summer interns: Ryan Pace (l) and Jonathan Abraham. We are grateful to the Port Chester Youth Employment Service for assigning them to the Chamber. Some of you will meet them as they help me extend our outreach!
Our commerce community continues to grow as we add and renew more members and make valuable connections between organizations. We hope that you will support the growth of your Chamber by setting up a 2025-26 membership if you have not already. We are now planning for quarterly membership meetings, a website with a referral directory, educational programs, and more.

Be Heard! Public Input Session on Con Ed Rate Hike Proposal: Tues, July 29 @ 7pm
The next public information session on proposed Con Ed rate hikes will be held this Tuesday, @ Rye Brook Village Hall @ 7pm. Sponsored by the Westchester County Board of Legislators, it is YOUR next opportunity to learn more and have a say. Rye Town, the Village of Rye Brook, and the Village of Port Chester are part of a consortium of 40 Westchester municipalities that are party to the Con Ed rate case that is before the Public Service Commission. The proposed rate hikes for both electric and gas impact residential and commercial customers, and will take effect Jan 1, 2026 if not mitigated. There is a lot to this issue and by attending the session on Tuesday, you can understand and become part of the solution. Consider bringing your board members and significant customers...

LobsterFest was Delicious!
Our annual summer dinner and fundraiser was a reSounding success! We had a beautiful evening and packed the pavilion @ Rye Town Park with 110 happy guests! The energy was great and new friendships and connections were made.
