Introducing Downtown Asheboro Inc.'s new Executive Director Rebekah McGee
Rebekah was previously the executive director for Uptown Lexington Inc. since 2014, successfully creating new events and economic development programs for the City of Lexington. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and enjoys CrossFit and spending time with her son, Alex. Rebekah is eager to lead Downtown Asheboro Inc. into new development and activities. "After the first week in the new position, I can say I am even more excited for the opportunities to come. Asheboro has wonderful historic buildings, business owners, an active board, and a great city staff that I know will make this organization and its mission successful."
