At this time last year, we had no idea what 2020 would bring. By any measure it has been a tough year. With crazy politics, social and racial unrest and a worldwide pandemic it would be easy to be negative and pessimistic. I think we all have had some of those feelings that last several months.
But being an amateur historian, I know there have been much tougher times that our parents and grandparents have suffered through. The 1918 pandemic was much worse than Covid 19. Tens of millions killed in WWI and WWII, the great depression with 25% unemployment, assassinations and race riots......

Hello and HAPPY NEW YEAR! We knew we’d get through 2020, but it sure seems like it took a long time. Hope is on the horizon for a much better year as we settle into 2021.
The Chamber is happy to announce the association of two new

The Shop Where I Live platform is an e-commerce marketplace & lead generation platform that helps small businesses to easily sell online together. The goal is to showcase Chambers’ businesses to our communities and beyond. This is a partnership designed to help local small businesses sell online via a national platform and still have local community support. You’ll have your own shop within the platform to sell products, services, gift cards, virtual products, and more.
The Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce has invested in this site for our member businesses to be able to have access to sell online as an added benefit to your annual membership! You can list up to 25 products in your shop at no cost to you, with opportunities to upgrade as needed.
