149th Annual Meeting
On Thursday, June 3rd, the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated it's 149th Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner at NelsonCorp Field. The weather was fantastic, and it was great to give out the following well-deserved awards!

Ribbon Cuttings & Groundbreakings!
Naeve Family Beef
The Ambassadors were on hand for the Groundbreaking for Naeve Family Beef, 1902 7th Avenue in Camanche.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and many other dignitaries were on hand for the celebration.

Naeve Family Beef anticipates the building will be completed late in 2021 and will employee 40 – 50 employees at the single species beef plant. The Naeve Family are 6th generation family farmers that grow row crops and raise beef cattle near Andover, Iowa.
Wilson Building Lofts
The Ambassadors helped Economic Growth Corporation celebrate the Goundbreaking for the Wilson Building Lofts, 210 5th Avenue South in Downtown Clinton.

Economic Growth Corporation has worked 7 hard years to bring more than $13.88 million of investment into downtown Clinton through the redevelopment of the Wilson Building into Wilson Lofts
American Legion June Van Meter Post No. 190
The Chamber Ambassadors were on hand for the American Legion's dedication of plaques honoring Lt. Bill Schick and John Albert Lubbers for their contributions during WW II.

These plaques will be located at Lubbers Fountain in Riverview Park.
Zirkelbach Home Appliances
The Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors celebrated the 75th Anniversary of Zirkelbach Home Appliances with a Ribbon Cutting.

Located at 225 5th Avenue South in Clinton, Zirkelbach's hosted a Biz After 5 event to celebrate their anniversary.
Clinton High School Groundbreaking
The Chamber Ambassadors were on hand to help celebrate a Groundbreaking for the new Clinton High School building project.

Located at 817 8th Avenue South, the initial construction area will be on the east side of the campus.

This project was made possible by the successful passage of a bond issue.

Leadership Institute 2021 to Begin in August!
Leadership Institute 2021 has a start date of August 24th, with a Kick-Off Luncheon and will continue on consecutive Tuesdays (except Sept. 7th) from 8:00 - 11:00 a.m., at the Clinton Schools Administration Building.

Identifying and developing the next generation of leaders ensures the continuing tradition of excellence in leadership for the Clinton, Camanche and Fulton Communities. The Leadership Institute provides for dialogue between program participants and civic leaders, enriching the participants' experience. Leadership graduates describe their experience as challenging, enjoyable and worthwhile.
