Did You Know That Your Business Can Retroactively Claim the Employee Retention Tax Credit?

Don't leave money on the table! The Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC) program may have ended, but a business to retroactively claim these funds. In fact, businesses have up to three years from the sunset of the program to conduct a look back to determine if wages they paid after March 12, 2020 through the end of the program are eligible.


The ERTC is a refundable tax credit designed to reward business owners for retaining employees throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. The ERTC was signed into law in 2020 as part of the CARES Act and significantly expanded in 2021.

Join the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce for the 31st Annual Golf Tournament at Indian Ridge Country Club. Indian Ridge is the premiere destination for golfers in the Merrimack Valley. The tournament is foursome scramble format and is great for golfers of all abilities. Spend the afternoon playing a round of golf with friends, colleagues and fellow members of the business community.

This Saturday! Spring Town Clean-Up, Community Picnic & Earth Day Celebration

Stoneham Town Common

Join the Stoneham CDC for their Spring Town Clean-Up, Community Picnic and Earth Day Celebration. Start the day with a town-wide litter clean-up from 10-12 and then gather on the Stoneham Common for a community picnic, kids’ activities and informational tables. This is a great team-building volunteer opportunity for scout troops, community groups and businesses as well! This is a volunteer event and all are welcome to participate.

Stoneham Garden Club Hosts Annual Plant Sale

Stoneham Town Common

The Stoneham Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale on the Town Common, May 7 from 10AM-2PM. The plant sale will feature perennial plants from members' gardens. Also available will be assorted annual plants including flowering plants, herbs and vegetables.

Stoneham Art Group to Offer Plein Air Day

Saturday, May 14, 10AM-12PM

Stoneham Town Common

The Stoneham Art Group have scheduled a Plein Air Day on the Stoneham Town Common on May 14th from 10-12 pm.


The French term plein air means out of doors and refers to the practice of painting entire finished pictures outside.


This is a family-friendly event and the The Book Oasis will offer a story time at noon for younger children.

Chamber Scholarship Application Period Open Through May 20

The chamber currently offers three $1,000 scholarships. The scholarships are limited to Chamber members in good standing and eligibility extends to members’ children and grandchildren, employees, as well as their employees’ children and grandchildren. Please note you do not need to be pursuing a business degree to apply for a Chamber Scholarship. Learn more
