The Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce NextExecs are participating in an initiative that is part of the Chamber’s mission to support, inspire, and advocate for business to better our community. A drive to furnish needy Montgomery County Public School students with backpacks, complete with critical school supplies, the GIVE BACKpacks campaign raises funds to purchase backpacks for students who qualify for Free and Reduced-Price Meals (FARMS). Each new backpack comes with supplies appropriate for K-12 school students, including pencils, pens, dividers, and notebooks.

Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce’s NextExecs’ team remains dedicated to ensuring that our communities most deserving students receive the best resources they need to succeed. Your support is crucial to ensure that children experiencing hardships are not left behind.
We are partnering with area MCPS schools to help fill 100 backpacks with school supplies for grade levels Pre-K through high 12th grade. With your help and the support of our community, we can help as many children and teens possible by providing school supplies so they can succeed during their school year.
How can you can help? All it takes is a minimum of $10.00 to help fill a backpack full of school supplies. Get your employees involved, family, & friends too. Monetary donations can be made through Venmo @TGBCC or writing a check to Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce (memo line MCPS Backpacks) between now and August 15th.
