CULTURAL ROUNDTABLE

Mosaic Visions is proud to partner on the first series of its "Black Jewish Community Hall Forum: Standing in Solidarity" with a collaboration with the Greater Bethesda Chamber of Commerce's first cultural roundtable event.

Purpose & Background:

With racism and antisemitism evolving and growing in the 21st century with global public attention, now is the time to repair and rebuild the Black-Jewish communal relationship through collaborative community efforts and engagement. This event invites community activists, residents, policymakers, business owners, and students to attend this engaging and interactive discussion of how we can empower, build trust and relationships with each other and be active on community impact projects together.

Panelists to be announced soon.

The presenting organization, Mosaic Visions, is a Black-Jewish-led organization with a mission that works toward building bridges and coalition building for a tolerant, equitable, and just society. Suggested donations can be made so that programs like this can be supported. Other dates and panels will be announced in

Washington, D.C. and Arlington, VA.

Don’t take age 50+ workers for granted.

“With Americans continuing to feel the pinch of inflation, many older workers are switching jobs to find higher pay as part of the Great Resignation, according to a survey from AARP Research,” reports Kenneth Terrell at https://www.aarp.org/work/job-search/older-workers-job-switch/.

“More than a third (34 percent) of workers age 50 and older who have changed jobs recently did so because they needed money, while 26 percent said they did so specifically to receive higher pay.”
