As part of the event, we will recognize an individual or entity for outstanding service in the field of Mental Health and Wellness.

Do you know someone who deserves recognition for their contributions to Mental Health and Wellness? This could be a volunteer, someone who manages a hotline, provides educational programs and community outreach, or has developed or managed leadership positions, mentoring, or volunteer programs. Please include specific details in 300 words or less.

All nominations must be received by 11:59 PM on July 15, 2024.

RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY

Congratulations to Liberty Home Care Nursing Agency on their ribbon cutting and grand opening celebrating held over the weekend. Along with friends, family and clients, the ceremony was attended by GBCC's Carla Young and members of our Health & Wellness Committee as well as Joseph Eyong of Congressman Jaime Raskin's Office.

NextExecs Backpack Drive

Join the GBCC-NextExecs as they kick off their 3rd Annual Back to School Drive.

Help them reach this year’s goal to fill 700 backpacks for MCPS students in grades K-12.

Donations are accepted now through August 9th and can be delivered to the GBCC office. 

Take advantage of your GBCC member discount at the Staples store in Chevy Chase to buy new and unused school supplies and backpacks. 

Minimum $20.00 monetary donations may also be made via check or Venmo @TGBCC using memo line #NEBACKPACK24.

Volunteers to fill the backpacks can register on our event calendar for the August 20th backpack party in the GBCC Boardroom.
