The Economic Development and Real Estate Committees both enjoyed wonderful presentations during their May meetings. In Economic Development, Montgomery County Board of Education President Julie Yang spoke about her guiding principels: education, economy and efficiency. For Real Estate, leaders of the Bethesda Historical Society, President Wendy Kaufman, Vice President David Schardt and Secretary Hank Levine discussed the Society's investment in and renovation of the Bethesda Meeting House. Our thanks to all our speakers and to everyone who attended!

Thank you to those that attended our May Meeting, "MoCo Means Business" and a BIG thank you to Maryland Black Chamber of Commerce and Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation for partnering with the NextExecs! In addition to their regular meeting, the NextExecs enjoyed a day of service. The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful as NextExecs leadership and GBCC members kicked off June by volunteering as judges for the KID Museum's Innovate the Future Expo. Middle school students from across Montgomery County showcased their STEM-based inventions, hands-on activities, prototypes, and much more. It was an inspiring day celebrating creativity, innovation, and the next generation of changemakers!
