Join the NextExecs at Hank Dietles Tavern for their Annual Spring Sip-N-Spell event to raise money and awareness for our members at MCAEL. Come to spell, come to cheer, come to network. The winning team of the Sip-N-Spell bee will be sponsored to compete at the April 16th MCAEL Adult Spelling Bee to Support English Language Learning. MCAEL’s annual spelling bee event is held at Montgomery College Silver Spring campus.

GBCC'S 98th BIRTHDAY HOSTED BY VINO 301

April marks the 98th Birthday of our Chamber and that deserves a toast.

Vino 301/Wine Concierge is happy host a Birthday Winery Outing for GBCC Members and Guests.

You are invited to board a private coach bus hosted and driven by Vino 301 on Friday, April 26th, at 12:00 PM. We ask that everyone arrive to the GBCC Boardroom by 11:30 AM. At noon, we will walk down to Veterans Park located on the corner of Woodmont Ave. and Norfolk Ave. where our bus will be departing promptly at noon.

GBCC MEMBER MINUTE

This member minute features Rob Mercer with First Home Mortgage.

Rob has been a Mortgage Originator since September 1989. Rob Joined First Home Mortgage in 2007 to open and manage the Silver Spring Office. In 2012 Rob opened a second office in Bethesda where he spends most of his time.

Rob has consistently achieved President’s Club / Chairman’s Clubs status, ranking in the top five percent as both a Loan Officer and Branch Manager for the past 15 years. Rob’s professionalism and experience are second to none. In 2014 Rob was honored as one of the Top 1% of all Loan Originators in America.

Rob completed his studies in 1987 with a Marketing Degree from the University of Maryland. Rob is understandably a zealous Terp Fan and holds season tickets for Maryland basketball and football and has for 20 years!
