We are excited to announce the successful recruitment of a new cohort of Champion Provider Fellows who will officially be onboarded in April 2019. The new group of fellows represent diverse areas of practice and geographical representation, but all share a commitment to preventing obesity and chronic disease. We would like to encourage attendance by fellows in cohort 2017 and local health department representatives with fellows in cohort 2017 and/or cohort 2019 in welcoming the new cohort. More details are available in the
Upcoming Events
section.
With this new cohort, we are excited to have the opportunity to continue to build partnerships between health care and public health and to amplify everyone’s voice in an effort to create healthier and more equitable communities throughout California.
