CONGRATS TO OUR IRONMEN WRESTLERS!

Both the CCCHS Ironmen and Lady Ironmen wrestling teams had a strong start to their seasons last weekend, showcasing impressive performances and hard work!

The Girls Wrestling Team kicked off their season at the Brush Tournament on Sunday, December 8. A special congratulations goes to Ajiahana Triplett `26, who took home First Place in her weight class!

Meanwhile, the Boys Wrestling Team competed at the Beachwood Tournament on Saturday, December 7, where they finished 13th out of 23 teams, with five wrestlers placing in the top five of their respective weight classes. A standout performance came from Hector Aboytes '25, who set a state record with a 26-5 victory, marking the largest spread in a technical fall!

We are incredibly proud of both teams and look forward to even more success as the season progresses. Keep up the great work, Ironmen and Lady Ironmen!

Earlier in the evening, the Boys JV team also emerged victorious, defeating Eastlake North with a final score of 41-32.

Congratulations to both teams for their outstanding efforts!

TWO POWERFUL BOOKS OF HOPE & RESILIENCE

We are proud to congratulate Dr. Anthony J. Wiggins, a dedicated teacher at CCCHS, on the release of two deeply impactful books that reflect his journey through grief and healing. The first, Experiencing God's Grace In the Midst of Tragedy, chronicles the devastating loss of Dr. Wiggins’ only son, who tragically passed away in Iraq in 2007. This heartfelt memoir offers a personal account of how Dr. Wiggins and his family navigated the depths of sorrow while experiencing God’s profound grace in their darkest moments.

In his second book, Yet I Am Still Blessed, Dr. Wiggins shares the powerful message that, despite unimaginable loss, God’s blessings remain. This inspiring story highlights how the Wiggins family found strength in their faith, slowly regaining emotional, spiritual, and mental stability after the devastation.

Both books offer readers a compelling narrative of resilience, hope, and faith. They are available for purchase on Amazon, and we encourage you to dive into Dr. Wiggins' powerful testimony.
