CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES, DURATION, AND TRAFFIC IMPACTS:

Utility work continues on Sears Lane between Kaigle’s Service Center and 40 Sears Lane. Crews have completed sewer work in that area and will continue installing water line. Later in the week, crews will begin installing conduit. There is the potential for temporary water service disruptions along Sears Lane late next week or early the following. Impacted property owners will be notified by Burlington Water Resources 72 hours in advance.

Crews will continue working on the outflow structures from the stormwater detention pond to Englesby Brook and backfilling the area near the Englesby Brook box culvert.

Crews will continue excavating the roadway alignment for the Champlain Parkway east of Briggs Street within the City’s Right-of-Way starting at Flynn Avenue and working towards the south.
