SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The Champlain Parkway Project, which remains in winter shutdown, is anticipated to begin mobilizing on April 10 with construction activities anticipated to resume on April 17. A supplemental notice regarding the planned construction activities for the 2023 construction season will follow.
TRAFFIC IMPACTS:
No impacts to traffic are anticipated however, construction vehicles may be parked on the road shoulders in advance of and throughout the work zone while crews install signage.
CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES:
Monday, April 10, and Tuesday, April 11, crews will be on-site installing construction signage and message boards.
There is the potential for a crew to begin DigSafe utility markings along Home Avenue, Flynn Avenue, Batchelder Street and Sears Lane next week.
Independent utility companies may be in the project area relocating aerial utilities throughout the week.
CWSRF Pump Station Replacement Project
Burlington Water Resources is conducting work along Flynn Avenue related to the CWSRF Pump Station Replacement Project that began the week of March 20th. This work is being completed during the daytime hours under single-lane closures with alternating east-west traffic along Flynn Avenue starting west of the intersection with Briggs Street. The roadway is anticipated to reopen each evening. No driveway impacts are anticipated to the businesses between Briggs Street and the railroad crossing.
This work is independent of the Champlain Parkway Project.
