SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The Champlain Parkway Project, which remains in winter shutdown, is anticipated to begin mobilizing on April 10 with construction activities anticipated to resume on April 17. A supplemental notice regarding the planned construction activities for the 2023-2024 construction season will follow.
INDEPENDENT UTILITY UPDATE:
Monday, April 3, and Tuesday, April 4, Burlington Electric Department (BED) will be onsite installing a new utility pole and relocating an existing guywire in preparation for future culvert work. This work will be completed on Home Avenue near the railroad crossing and will require intermittent lane closures with alternating one-way traffic. Flaggers will be present. No service interruptions are anticipated as part of this work.
There is the potential for Consolidated Communications to be onsite next week to install a new utility pole on Home Avenue just east of the railroad crossing, near the entrance to the bike path.
