This work will be completed under the full closure of Lakeside Avenue within the project limits.

Starting Monday, August 7, crews will begin preparing for the installation of curb and constructing the shared-use path along the west side of Pine Street between Kilburn Street and Lakeside Avenue. This work will require the excavation of the area just west of the shared-use path and just east of the edge of pavement along the west side of Pine Street. Crews will backfill the area as they progress south. This work will take place predominantly off the roadway, however, it may require shoulder closures along Pine Street. This work will impact driveways. Impacted property owners and tenants will be notified. Access and egress will be maintained throughout the work.

Crews will be conducting investigatory work along Pine Street between Lakeside Avenue and Kilburn Street in preparation for upcoming work on Pine Street. This work will require intermittent lane shifts and lane reductions with alternating one-way traffic along Pine Street.

Crews will continue reconstructing Flynn Avenue west of the railroad crossing. Crews continue excavating the area and will install subbase in preparation for fine grading and paving anticipated to begin next week. This work will require single-lane reductions. Starting Tuesday, August 8, and continuing into Wednesday, August 9, there is the potential for curb work along Flynn Avenue.
