Construction Update

DURATION:

Minor construction activities will take place intermittently Monday through Friday between 7 AM and 7 PM. All work is dependent on weather, temperature, and subcontractor availability and is subject to change. 

CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES & TRAFFIC IMPACTS:

Throughout the week, crews will install the remaining post-mounted signs throughout the project area. This work is expected to have minimal impacts on traffic. Late next week, crews will install guide signs at the intersection of Main Street and Pine Street. This work will require lane closures and traffic shifts.

Crews will also continue installing delineators along the on-ramp to the Champlain Parkway (northbound) from Shelburne Street (Route 7 North) and the on-ramp to Interstate 189 East from Route 7 South under shoulder closures. Additionally, crews will complete fence repairs and landscaping work adjacent to the roadway with no anticipated impacts to traffic.

Please note that supplemental updates will be distributed to notify stakeholders of any remaining activities expected to result in significant traffic impacts. A final project update will be provided upon completion of all remaining work.
