Environmental Impact Statement (LS DSEIS)
is now available on the new project website
The Burlington Department of Public Works has launched a new, redesigned website for the Champlain Parkway Project. From the website’s NEPA page , the public can view and comment on the Limited Scope Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (LS DSEIS ) , published on Friday, July 10, 2020.

The public comment period will remain open through August 24, 2020. Comments will be accepted during the public hearing as well as via the website comment form , emails sent to info@champlainparkway.com , voicemails to the project hotline, 802-496-8656, or by mail addressed to:

A p ublic hearing for the Champlain Parkway Project will be held on July 29, 2020, at 6 PM at Burlington Public Works and on Zoom.

The in-person option will be held at the Department of Public Works semi-open garage. The number of in-person attendees will be limited and participants will be required to follow applicable safety precautions. To register for the in-person meeting, please email  info@champlainparkway.com  or call 802-496-8956.

Participation in the public hearing is encouraged via Zoom. Please follow the instructions to join the Zoom call outlined in the  public hearing flyer . The meeting will also be live-streamed on the  Town Meeting TV YouTube channel
The redesigned website will serve as the information hub for the Champlain Parkway Project and offers residents, businesses and visitors an opportunity to learn about the project, and to stay updated on construction activities once construction commences. The website includes an interactive project map highlighting construction elements, animations to visualize the new roadway design, project history, frequently asked questions, project documents from past public meetings, past presentations, and more.

As the Champlain Parkway moves into construction in 2021, construction updates and traffic alerts will be posted to the website on a weekly basis.
