The OUTBOUND direction of the Champlain Parkway (southbound) between Home Avenue and Interstate 189 eastbound is now open 

The outbound direction of the Champlain Parkway (southbound) from Home Avenue to I-189 eastbound, including the Champlain Parkway off-ramp to Queen City Park Road, is now open to the traveling public, as shown in green in the graphic below. Please note, this segment of the Champlain Parkway is a limited-access roadway and only accessible by vehicle; pedestrian and bicycle access is prohibited.



The inbound direction of the Champlain Parkway (northbound) from I-189 westbound to Home Avenue and the on-ramps from Route 7 north and south to the Parkway will remain closed until later in the evening, as shown in red in the graphic below.

CHAMPLAIN PARKWAY INBOUND REMAINS AN ACTIVE WORKZONE

The inbound direction of the Champlain Parkway between I-189 and Home Avenue is an active work zone as crews complete final work ahead of its full opening later this evening. All vehicular, pedestrian, and bicycle access is strictly prohibited along the inbound direction of the Champlain Parkway at this time. Additionally, after opening, this segment of the Champlain Parkway is a limited access roadway and will be only accessible by vehicle. Pedestrians and bicycles will remain strictly prohibited along this segment.

City, State, and Federal Partners, Dignitaries, Consultants and Contractors, Other Collaborators, Business Owners, and the general public, gathered at the intersection of Home Avenue and the Champlain Parkway to recognize the substantial completion of the Champlain Parkway Project. The Champlain Parkway is now partially open from Interstate 189 to Lakeside Avenue. The outbound direction between Home Avenue and Interstate 189 is now fully open, but the inbound direction remains closed until later this evening.
