Starting tomorrow, Friday, July 17, at 4 a.m., L&D will be onsite working to install the remaining line striping, pavement markings, and rumble strips throughout the project limits
L&D (the pavement markings and line striping subcontractor) will be onsite starting at 4 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, July 17, and will work through Friday evening until 7 p.m. to complete the installation of the remaining line striping, pavement markings, and rumble strips.
The installation of the remaining line striping and pavement markings along Route 7 (Shelburne Street) between I-189 Westbound Off-Ramp and Swift Street, and along the I-189 Westbound Off-Ramp, and Queen City Park Road Extension will require single lane and shoulder closures. Two-way traffic will be maintained via traffic shifts or one-way alternating traffic controlled by flaggers.
The installation of the remaining line striping along I-189 Westbound and rumble striping along I-189 Eastbound and Westbound will take place within the limits of the newly established pavement. This work will require single lane closures and will be restricted to the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Miscellaneous, limited, line striping and pavement markings installation may occur along Pine Street between Kilburn Street and Main Street. Short mobile work zones may be in place along Pine Street with temporary shoulder, parking, and travel lane closures. Two-way traffic will be maintained via traffic shifts or one-way alternating traffic controlled by flaggers.
The installation of Do Not Block the intersection or driveway markings may take place at the intersections of Battery Street and Maple Street, Battery Street and King Street, and on Locust Street at the first driveway just east of Pine Street. This will require lane closures with one-way alternating traffic controlled by flaggers.
This work is subject to weather and the subcontractor’s schedule.
