University of Arizona Announces Data Analytics Classes in Chandler
University of Arizona Continuing and Professional Education has announced the launch of the UA Data Analytics Boot Camp at its UA Chandler location, 125 E. Commonwealth Ave. The 24-week skills development program teaches fundamental data science and analytics skills that are increasingly sought after in today's data-driven digital economy.
The boot camp will start on March 6, 2018, and is offered in partnership with Trilogy Education Services. Designed to accommodate the schedules of working professionals, two three-hour evening classes will be held during the week with a four-hour class on Saturdays.
"The UA Data Analytics Boot Camp is the next logical step in meeting our mission of teaching job-ready skills to help students succeed in the digital economy," said Rebecca Cook from UA Continuing and Professional Education. "Based on our previous successes working with Trilogy to implement Coding Boot Camps, we are looking forward to rolling out this new program together."
In addition to classroom instruction, students will spend 20 hours a week on outside projects, experiential learning activities and building a professional project portfolio to showcase their abilities and hone their competitive edge in the employment market. Groundbreaking Ceremony Held for Chandler Corporate Industrial Center
A 100,018-square-foot corporate facility broke ground last week at 370 N. Juniper Dr. in the Chandler Corporate Center business park. Named Chandler Corporate Industrial Center, the project is owned by Desert Palm Management Group LLC. LGE is leading design and construction, and Greg Hopley with Colliers International is serving as exclusive leasing agent.

Building features will include abundant use of glass, 24-foot minimum clear height, 12 bay doors including 8 dock-high, curbs for future 3-5 ton HVAC units and 329 parking spaces. Construction is scheduled to be completed in Sep. 2018.
