ICYMI: City of Chandler and Clarivate Analytics Announce New Center of Excellence
The City of Chandler announced that Clarivate Analytics plc, a global leader in providing trusted insights and analytics to accelerate the pace of innovation, has signed a 30,000 square foot lease at Chandler Viridian, located in the Price Corridor Employment Center at 3133 W. Frye Road. Clarivate expects to employ approximately 150 people at this Class A office building.

"We continue to see that our educated workforce, award-winning schools, and high quality of life are winning factors that are putting Chandler on the short list for projects like this."

Morsch Machine Expands with New Manufacturing Facility
Founded in 1959 and headquartered in Chandler since 1995, Morsch Machine has steadily expanded its operations over the years. The precision machining firm primarily serves the aerospace industry, supplying components for missile systems, launch vehicles, satellites, and instrumentation for both commercial and defense aircraft. Components are manufactured out of two company-owned facilities in West Chandler totaling about 39,000 square feet.

Based on strong revenue growth, Morsch Machine recently purchased an additional 21,000-square-foot building in West Chandler to enhance its manufacturing capacity. The new building will lead to about 20 new employees within three years, adding to the company's more than 80 employees currently in Chandler.
ICYMI: Chandler Mayor and Council Host State of the City
Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke and the City Council hosted the annual State of the City on Thursday, Feb. 20. This year's theme was Chandler as a Community of Innovation, and the event highlighted a number of Made in Chandler stories. Mayor Hartke also addressed City accomplishments from 2019 and plans for the coming year. Watch the full State of the City on the City of Chandler's YouTube channel.
