Chandler Endeavor is a free business incubator program sponsored by the city and managed by community entrepreneurship leaders from ASU's J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute.

The City of Chandler is proud to announce that Economic Development Director Micah Miranda was recognized as the Policymaker of the Year by the Association for Career Technical Education of Arizona (ACTE). Miranda received the award during the ACTE annual conference awards breakfast in Tucson.

The Policymaker of the Year Award honors individuals who have made significant contributions to advancing career and technical education (CTE) opportunities across Arizona. Miranda’s leadership has been instrumental in forging strong partnerships between the city, educational institutions and industry leaders to create innovative career pathways for students.

Under the strategic direction of Chandler Mayor and Council, Miranda and the Chandler Economic Development Division have worked closely with local school districts, Chandler-Gilbert Community College, Chandler Chamber of Commerce, University of Arizona, Arizona State University and other workforce training organizations to align programs with the needs of high-growth industries. These partnerships have resulted in new opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience, industry knowledge and connections to high-demand careers.
