DPC Companies hosted a groundbreaking event for the Chandler Innovation Park, a three-building industrial park that will offer approximately 327,776 square feet of premier industrial space. The 21-acre site at the northeast corner of Arizona Avenue and Ryan Road is in the heart of the Airpark Area, Chandler’s fastest growing employment corridor.

Designed to accommodate a wide range of industrial users, the Chandler Innovation Park’s three Class A buildings will range from 39,000 square feet to 190,000 square feet, with flexible layouts for tenants from 20,000 square feet to full-building users. The park features 28’ to 32’ clear heights, multiple grade-level and dock-high doors, and fully fenced and secured truck courts—perfectly positioned to meet the demands of manufacturing, logistics, and light industrial tenants.

Simpson Strong-Tie, one of the world’s largest suppliers of structural building products, is expanding its Chandler operations for the third time, recently signing a 67,000-square-foot lease at 2850 S. Cooper Road in Chandler Airport Business Park. The facility will include a training center, small manufacturing department, and warehousing.

The company has continued to grow its Chandler footprint since first locating approximately 12 years ago, starting with 22,000 square feet, then expanding to 32,000 square feet, and now making the jump to 67,000 square feet to support anticipated future demand for its products.

“This is what we’re calling Chandler 3.0,” said Andre El-Koury, Regional Director of Southwest Operations at Simpson Strong-Tie. “We know how important our Chandler facility is to support our customers, and that’s why we have continued to expand here.”

Chandler has a job market that helps households reach their financial goals, according to a new study from leading personal finance outlet SmartAsset. Their analysts compared 348 cities in the United States across six key metrics, including unemployment rate, commute time, and income growth. Chandler ranked 16th overall.

Earlier this year, WalletHub ranked Chandler the 7th best city to find a job in the U.S. Combined with a remarkably low unemployment rate of only 3.7% (vs. 4.6% nationally), Chandler is a place of opportunity for job seekers.
