Common Human Resources System

Exciting changes are on the way! On March 16, 2026, Cal Poly Pomona will officially transition to the Common Human Resources System (CHRS) - a new and improved version of PeopleSoft used across the CSU. 


CHRS builds on the foundation of our current PeopleSoft system, bringing a modern design, enhanced functionality, and greater consistency across all CSU campuses. Everything from timekeeping and absences to benefits and personal information will be managed in one streamlined, user-friendly platform. 


We know change can spark questions, and that’s completely okay! Over the next few months, we’ll share updates, resources, and training opportunities to help you get ready for launch day. 

Where We Are on the CHRS Roadmap

We’re currently in Pass B (Testing Phase) - where our HR teams and subject matter experts are testing the system, identifying challenges, and fine-tuning everything before launch.
