Change is hard, messy, uncomfortable and often met with resistance.
However in the rapidly changing world that we live in adapting means survival – personally and professionally.
Who recognizes amazing opportunities when presented or reacts better in a crisis? Those who are willing to pivot, adapt and change.
Every great thing that has happened in history never started with having the majority vote. Here are a few tips to keep in mind while trying to implement change:
- Have a clear vision to communicate to your team to understand the Why. A person must understand Why this matters to them and Why it is important to the team before you can move on to the how and what.
- Have a simple plan of attack.
- Be open to criticism and feedback from others to better the plan and garner buy in from all. Remember, all ideas are never perfect to begin with. Two minds are greater than one.
- Take the first step and get to work!
A great marriage, a strong family unit, a healthy lifestyle, a successful business – Nothing worth having comes easy.
