St. Paul's Episcopal Church

Dear St. Paul's,

We have had a wonderful start to our online gatherings.  Each day, we've met for a morning check in and prayer time on Facebook Live.  At 10:00am, we've gathered with our young people and their families for some children's chapel time.  And at 8:30pm, we've said Compline together.  I have found these times filled with the Spirit and Love of God.  These have been sacred times, and we will continue to offer these gatherings during the week for as long as restrictions are in place.

We have discovered that Zoom offers the ability to see everyone at the same time in a way Google Hangouts does not, and so we will be moving our Children's time and Compline to Zoom.  You do not need a Zoom account to join, but you may want to download the program on your laptop or phone to make things easier.  I have included a Zoom Guide from the Diocese to help you.  You can access it here.

On Sunday mornings, we will broadcast our Morning Prayer service on Zoom and Facebook Live.  Feel free to join us in whichever platform you prefer.  If you join us on Zoom, there will be time for virtual coffee hour afterwards.

Here are the links you will need:

Sunday Morning Worship on Facebook Live
Sunday Morning worship on Zoom
Morning check in (Mon-Fri) on Facebook Live
Children's Time (Mon-Fri) on Zoom
Compline (Mon-Fri) on Zoom

For Compline, you can download the Book of Common Prayer app, called eCP, or you can find Compline at www.bcponline.org .  That is, of course, unless you have a Book of Common Prayer at home!

Finally, we are grateful for your desire to continue to support St. Paul's and our ministry during this disruption, as you are able.  We have (just in time) launched a new online giving platform and we want to invite everyone who supports St. Paul's to take some time to familiarize yourself with it and consider using it for your giving.  If you currently give by a check or have one mailed to the church, moving to this platform will reduce the amount of time our office staff needs to spend logging in gifts, as it is connect to Realm and your profile there. There is an option to pay by electronic bank draw or credit card.  If you are most comfortable giving as you currently do, know that we are thankful for your generosity. If you have any questions, please be in touch.  Many thanks to our treasurer, Brett Foster, for getting this live in a hurry!

Thanks so much for all the many ways your are continuing to be the voices and hearts of God in the world.  I am grateful to be serving you during this time.

Yours in Christ,
Jeff+
