Dearest Blue Oak Families,

We are so appreciative of the volunteers who have come out this week to help improve our school site. Thank you for your time, generosity and hard work!

Hopefully you received the one-call message yesterday, about cancelling the Painting for today (8/1/18). A leak was discovered and we had to turn off the water yesterday. Fortunately, the leak has been repaired and we are back in business. Buck is out back today, plugging away on the new play structure and Painting will resume this Friday and Saturday. (full work schedule below)

Moving forward, we need to insist that young children are not brought to volunteer work days. Children who are of the age where they can be given a task they can handle themselves and the parent can still supervise them, are welcome. The back play yard is currently a construction zone and we need to put safety first. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

INSTALL PART 1: July 31st through August 7th

July 31st to August 6th, 9 am - 5 'ish pm
lunch break, 1 pm

August 7th, 9 am to 2 pm

INSTALL PART 2: August 14th through the 19th
Schedule will be 9 - 5 pm each day, with lunch break at 1 pm

PAINTING PROJECT (UPDATED)

Paint Day 2 -Aug. 3rd, Friday - 10:30 am - 6 pm
shift 1: 10:30-1:30 pm, shift 2: 2:30 pm -6 pm
work: West Hall (Grades 1st - 3rd) & begin Back Hall (Grades 4th & 5th, Kinder & Specialties)

Paint Day 3 - August 4th, Saturday - 9 am - 6pm
shift 1: 9 am -1:00 pm, shift 2: 2 pm - 6 pm
work: tbd based on how much we are able to complete on day 2

Each day is split into two shifts. Come for one or come for all!
