After 10 years as the first lay president of Central Catholic High School, Chris Sullivan is stepping down to return to the role of Director of Marist Mission, a position he first held 35 years ago. A lifelong member of the Central Catholic community and a proud graduate of the Class of 1981, Sullivan has worn nearly every hat at the school - from student and athlete to academic dean and assistant principal.
Sullivan follows in the footsteps of his father, Michael Sullivan, a Central Catholic legend who dedicated 41 years as a teacher, coach, and athletic director. “I’ve always loved this place, and I always will,” Sullivan said, reflecting on the school that has been central to his family’s life, including his three sons.
A committed community leader, Sullivan has also dedicated his time and expertise as a Lawrence Partnership board member.
