Meet the Legette Family

Residents of the Bryant neighborhood for 13 years, the Legette family received upgrades to their home as part of the Sustainability Project!

Upgrades included:

• Installed a sump pump and a water garden
• Crawl space encapsulated from the ground
• Encapsulated the attic

In partnerhsip with The City of Ann Arbor's Office of Sustainability and Innovations, Elevate, MSHDA, and McKnight Foundation, upgrades just like the ones the Legette family received, plus others like new energy-efficient windows and doors, solar panels, A/C and heating upgrades and more have been completed in 7 homes.

43 more are in the queue with the goal of the entire Bryant neighborhood to become carbon neutral.
