Channel 7 digs into truth
about opposition mailers

The Channel 7 news team launched an investigation into sleazy campaign tactics by my opponent's main support group, concluding that a flier mailed recently to voters contains "gross distortion of the facts."

Check this link to learn about Channel 7's reaction to the infamous "China Girl" fiction that the opposition perpetrated upon voters in the 2014 election and now again in recent days. Back then, the Colorado Independent denounced it as total fiction, and now Ch. 7 puts it in their "Pants on Fire" category.

I appreciate that the news media have stayed on top of this story, but we will need to continue educating people about the truth. Will you donate to the campaign to help us get the word out! There are people in Arvada and Westminster who have received these fictitious fliers, who haven't had a chance to watch Ch. 7, who will continue to believe that I took a junket to China, even though it never happened.

Please click here to donate to the efforts to educate the public AND keep Laura Woods and her cronies out of office. This behavior is highly unethical, and we deserve to see better among our public servants.
Fundraising milestone

This campaign for the District 19 seat in the Colorado Senate has resonated so strongly with voters, we have already passed the fundraising mark of $100,000. Thanks to everyone who has helped us achieve such success. Now we have a long way to go, so I hope you will help us on our way to the next $100,000. We are putting the money to great use, reaching out to voters. Thank you! And see the list of upcoming fundraising events in this newsletter.
Yard signs are on display!

Rachel Zenzinger and Larry Hofer

If you have been traveling through Arvada or the west part of Westminster, you have probably seen quite a few "Zenzinger for Senate" yard signs. A group of VERY dedicated volunteers helped us to drive around during the recent holiday weekend and deliver those signs to our supporters. Thanks to those folks for their hard work. But we are not done! We are now fielding dozens of inquiries from people who have seen the signs and want signs of their own. If you have a good place to display a sign, please contact us!
Trio of fundraisers on tap

Fundraisers We have three important fundraising events coming up, the first hosted by Steve Sherick, the second by Congressman Ed Perlmutter and the third by Jenni fer and Tim Allport. This is the time of year that the campaigns really heat up, and we'll have plenty of information about how things are going. Mark your calendar for the Sherick event July 14 at 5:30 p.m.; the Perlmutter event July 23 at 4:30 p.m.; and the Allport event Aug. 5, at 6 p.m. Click here to RSVP. Let us know which of the events you would like to attend.

Sand in the City was a blast

We set up an information table at the recent Sand in the City festival in Arvada, where we interacted with dozens and dozens of voters, informing some of them for the first time about everything that we stand for. People were VERY interested. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped staff that booth throughout the two (very hot!) days.
Next up, Westy Fest

If you could help us reach out to voters at Westy Fest Aug. 13, we would appreciate it. Sign up now and name your shift, between 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., and/or help with set-up. Thank you!
Perlmutter Canvass Day

Don't forget the opportunity to join us for the Ed Perlmutter Canvass Day this Saturday, 10 a.m. Congressman Perlmutter will be walking door-to-door to support our campaign, and he will offer some words of wisdom just before everybody heads to the streets with their literature. Click here to sign up!
Donations

Every important political campaign these days requires significant funding, and this one is no exception. We need to find a way to pay for brochures, direct mail pieces, advertisements and other tools to help make voters aware of their choices. Please consider making any level of contribution to the "Rachel Zenzinger for Colorado" campaign, and help me get elected in 2016.
